Christian Social Anthropology

Cultural reconciliation and service to our neighbor

The Faculty's Academic Vision

Jesus told his disciples that they were the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). With that calling in mind, this faculty studies society, its institutions and contemporary culture from a biblical worldview and a theology of redemption.

We prepare professionals and ministers to understand today's social currents and to act wisely wherever there is crisis, marginalization or inequality. Institutional chaplaincy and public ethics give them concrete tools to take part in the missio Dei, God's mission in the midst of society.

Our graduates serve as agents of reconciliation and biblical justice, bringing the Gospel to the real problems of a globalized world.
